What a befitting way to spend the first afternoon session aboard a HUGE bus.
The tour of the LG Community was led by Community Development Director Bud Lortz.
Thank you Bud for an Informative and fun learning experience.
Bud shared behind the scene stories of the Town Planning Process and was a good sport to poke fun at himself (It is true if googling Bud, you will find much about the anti solar panel episode he discussed.)
The memorable moment of the trip is tied to Thomas Lettiere the keeper of the key. The trip thru the tiny gateway and access road could not have happened without Thomas and his key. Way to bust a move Tom.

A Great Group
Today was our first meeting for the class of 08 Leadership Los Gatos. Lucky us to have Ronee Nassi. She is to be applauded for the organization and swiss clock movement of our first session. Keeping us well fed and caffeinated was a big plus, and a nice
perk.
It's amazing to be a part of something local both in mind and in spirit. The brave individuals who shared funny stories too, should be applauded (or at least get a few extra cookies at lunch.) It looks to be an interesting year ahead as we learn about our local community and about each individual in our class.
Thank you all for the inspiring day. Here's to us! Looking forward to using this blog as a format to meet and greet ( hopefully often) and keep in touch. Cocktails on occasion should figure in somehow, someway- but i suppose we will do that too.
